• He has always dreamt of becoming a football star. Nesterov Art Museum is an oldest art museum in Russia: it was established on November 7, 1919, and was opened on January 5, 1920. With this purpose a number of branches of the Museum was established: A. Tyulkin Memorial House in Ufa (21 Volnovaya St.), Voskresenskoye Picture Gallery (68 Karl Marx St., Voskresenskoye, Meleuz District), Neftekamsk Picture Gallery “Miras” (89 Stroitelei St., Neftekamsk), Sterlitamak Picture Gallery (84 Kommunisticheskaya St., Sterlitamak). One of the priority-oriented directions in the Museum’s activities is promotion of scientific knowledge of classic and contemporary art in different towns and districts of Bashkortostan.The painting technique we call pointillism, which uses small distinct dots to create images, grew from Impressionism in the 1880s, but newly discovered rock artworks, including images of horses, show its origins are far older.The trove of 16 engraved and otherwise modified limestone blocks, created 38,000 years ago, confirms the ancient origins of the pointillist techniques later adopted by 19th and 20th century artists such as Georges Seurat, Vincent Van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, and Roy Lichtenstein.It also includes works by the masters of the latter part of the 20th century, such as Alexander Tyshler, Alexander Tikhomirov, Natalya Nesterova, Tatyana Nazarenko, Olga Bulgakova, Oleg Tselkov, and Konstantin Batynkov.There are also works by some of the contemporary artists e.g.
